Michael Hahn writes essays, criticism, and short fiction with works featured in Water~Stone Review, Colorado Review, phoebe, Tiferet Journal, Northwest Review, and The Los Angeles Review Online. His writing has been nominated for The Pushcart Prize and listed in The Best American Essays 2023.

A graduate of the MFA in Writing program at Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon, Michael was the recipient of the Kwame Dawes Mapmakers Scholarship. He is experienced in academia as a teacher, researcher, diversity educator, and copy editor. Michael currently resides in the Washington, D.C. area.
