Michael Hahn writes essays, criticism, and short fiction with works featured and forthcoming in Water~Stone Review, Southeast ReviewColorado Review, phoebe, Northwest Review, and The Los Angeles Review Online, among others. His writing has been nominated for The Pushcart Prize and listed in The Best American Essays 2023.

 

Currently based in the Washington, D.C. area,  Michael works for a nonprofit committed to housing equity in the City of Alexandria. He is also experienced in academia as a teacher, researcher, diversity educator, and copy editor. Michael is a graduate of the MFA in Writing program at Pacific University. He is working on his first novel.
